Baggage Reconciliation System

Delivered To Aviapartner

AviapartnerUnited OFOQ announced today that they have successfully completed the implementation of their passenger Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) for Aviapartner airports, which is designed to enhance the region's aviation efficiency and security.

With today's crowded airspace, the aviation industry is working harder than ever to streamline operations, strengthen safety, and enhance customers' experiences.

In the world of aviation and airport operations, baggage safety and tracking efficiency take lots of concerns. The operation of handling such matters draws big attention to: Where each bag is at all times? To whom it belongs? Whether loaded bags are matched with a boarded passenger or not? Etc.

United OFOQ has developed an efficient, integrated baggage reconciliation system—OBRS™—designed to meet such objectives.

This baggage tracking and reconciliation system uses computer-generated tags and readers to track baggage location within the airport, at the gate, and on the plane, as well as match all loaded bags with passengers.

In addition to this, the system uses wireless laser barcode scanners to read printed luggage tags.

With OBRS, baggage handlers know exactly where each bag is located—down to the position within the container onboard the aircraft. In the event that a bag must be removed from the aircraft before departure, it can quickly be found and identified with a 100% accurate, user-friendly, scalable, and cost-effective Baggage Information Monitoring Solution; using wireless scanners connected to the centralized database.
